Fjällräven unveils the latest interpretation of a Swedish classic

Stockholm, October 2026 – Fjällräven presents a new limited-edition collection for autumn and winter 2026: Expedition Block. The jackets and hats for women and men feature striking colour-block designs, bringing together tradition and modernity.

“Colour blocking gives the Expedition Series, which has a long history, a new look. We initially experimented with around 30 colours and ultimately selected five for the collection. The colours are very bold, but all are inspired by nature – as always, that was important to us.”

The jackets in the Expedition Series have been keeping Arctic researchers, mountaineers and outdoor enthusiasts warm since 1974. With more than five decades of proven performance, the silhouette of the original Expedition Down Jacket has become something of a Swedish icon.

The Expedition Down Lite Color Blocked Jacket offers the same cold-weather performance as the original, but with less bulk and seasonal designs. It features down insulation in stitch-through chambers, with synthetic insulation at the shoulders that resists moisture and abrasion. Three inside pockets provide storage for essential items. The two-way front zip, adjustable hem and adjustable hood allow weather protection to be tailored to individual needs.

The 1960 Leather Logo Hat gives another timeless Fjällräven product the limited-edition look. The double-layer lambswool hat features a leather Fjällräven logo and, with its four different designs, perfectly complements the Expedition Block collection.

The Expedition Block collection is available from 23 October at fjallraven.com and in selected stores. Forever Fjällräven Club members receive early access from 20 October.
