Changes are good, and meaningful changes are even better. Both jackets have been mainstays of the Whiteline collection for years – for winter 2019, they come in a new, more comfortable fit and a modern, typical freeride look. The Sentinel and Sabre jackets offer their wearers more freedom of movement: the AR versions have more room in the upper body, allowing easier extreme turns and accommodating an additional insulating layer. The even softer, brushed interior of the jackets provides increased comfort. The features and details are efficient and well thought out: The armpit zippers have been moved slightly upwards, making them easier to operate. The volume of the hand pockets and sleeve pockets has been increased compared to their predecessors. For the best possible protection from the elements during freeriding, the Sentinel AR and Sabre AR jackets use the robust yet soft, three-layer GORE-TEX N70p 3L laminate.
