The Escape is the most popular double-layer winter sports sock in the WRIGHTSOCK collection. It features single-sided terry cushioning in the toe and heel areas. As this cushioning is not integrated directly against the skin, but rather positioned between the inner and outer sock, chafing from the padding is effectively prevented. Skiers and ski tourers particularly value this model for the pleasant insulation against cold provided by the air trapped between the inner and outer layers. Friction on sensitive areas, such as the shin and ankle, is neutralised by the double-sock construction.
