The Merino Coolmesh II is the thinnest, double-layered model in the WRIGHTSOCK collection, offering unparalleled breathability. The "otc" (over-the-calf) design extends above the calf. Skiers and ski tourers particularly value how the air trapped between the inner and outer sock provides comfortable insulation. The dual-layer construction also significantly reduces friction in sensitive areas such as the shin and ankle. Merino Coolmesh II combines the pleasant foot climate of fine Merino wool on the exterior with moisture-wicking Dri-Wright fibres on the interior. As the wool is not next to the skin, it completely eliminates any unpleasant "wool scratchiness".
