Völkl Blaze 104 – Product image of a lightweight freeride touring ski with green design

Völkl

Blaze 104

A light, agile powder ski designed for maneuverability. A thin Titanal binding platform ensures dynamic turning with minimal effort. It shows impressive reaction times, especially in tight terrain and rough conditions. Thanks to its Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore and 4 Radius Drive Sidecut, it adapts to various riding styles. Its low weight also makes it suitable as a freeride touring ski. The Green Core technology ensures sustainability: all woods are FSC-certified, and the wood core contains recycled PET material.

Völkl Katana 108 freeride ski with Titanal Frame in black and orange on snow – product image

Völkl

Katana 108

The new Katana 108 comes with 3D Radius Sidecut and Titanal Frame, especially impressing experienced, very athletic freeriders: Those who prefer steep and fast off-piste terrain will appreciate the stability and dampening properties of the only 0.7 mm thick Titanal frame, which surrounds the high-stress tip and tail areas. Additionally, a 0.3 mm thick Titanal sheet in the binding area provides the necessary stability. Even under extreme stress, the binding screws maintain the same retention forces as with a metal ski. 108 mm underfoot ensures maximum float. Thanks to the 3D Radius Sidecut and the Titanal frame, the Katana 108 offers a combination of precise power transmission, uncompromising liveliness, smooth running, and turn variability, previously unknown for a Titanal ski.
