Product info

Perfect for those new to ski touring, with a focus on piste touring, thanks to its robust mohair-mix material – hard snow demands a lot from climbing skins. Excellent value! Proven hotmelt adhesive technology ensures maximum reliability, even with repeated re-skinning under the most challenging conditions. Front attachment: Tip Fix with hook bail. Rear attachment: The Tail Clip provides an optimal fit, even on rounded ski tails. For ski tails thicker than 5mm, we recommend using the Tail Clip 'wide'.

COLLTEX PALÜ Crystal

0.116 g/cm²

Colltex adds Colltex-Edge, an additional coating to prevent fraying, and Colltex-Drybase, to minimise water absorption. The specialised weaving technology ensures these climbing skins are exceptionally high-quality and durable. Our PALÜ climbing skins are our flagship product. Thanks to their 100% natural fibre construction, they offer perfect glide, particularly in fresh, dry, and cold snow. Wear and tear may be slightly higher on hard, icy snow. When not in use, we recommend employing a protective mesh to safeguard the Hotmelt adhesive layer.

COLLTEX VRENELI

0.098 g/cm²

The Vreneli climbing skins are the result of our patented Profibre technology. Uphill grip and glide properties, which are typically opposing characteristics, are maintained at a high level. The Profibre fibre is highly abrasion-resistant and remains like new even after thousands of vertical metres of use. The climbing skins are lightweight and pack down to a small size. These climbing skins can be used in the mountains without a protective net – always insert a net for storage. Furthermore, Vreneli climbing skins require 50% fewer resources to produce. All prices

COLLTEX RACE Crystal

0.108 g/cm²

The RACE are arguably the fastest climbing skins on the market. Their 100% mohair fibre construction has been further optimised for perfect glide. The trade-off is slightly less grip. When not in use, we employ a protective mesh to shield the hotmelt adhesive layer. Colltex incorporates additional coatings: Colltex-Edge to prevent fraying and Colltex-Drybase to inhibit water absorption. Furthermore, the RACE climbing skins are specifically woven for even better glide.
