Iran · Alborz-Gebirge (Shah Alborz)
Some dreams wait quietly inside of us. Mount Shah Alborz (13,681 feet) was one of mine. I left Iran with my family during the Iran-Iraq War in 1986, eventually building a life in Germany and later the United States. Yet the mountains of Iran never left me. Yet 17 years ago, I returned, drawn back …

Grönland · Südwestgrönland
What a sight: small icebergs drift across the water while, directly behind them, a 165-foot wall of blue glacier ice rises into the sky. We leave the sailing vessel anchored in an unnamed fjord in southwest Greenland and weave our inflatable boat through the floating ice toward shore. Algae-covered …

Österreich · Lechtaler Alpen
Halfway up the steepest section of the couloir, lost in the rhythm of bootpacking and breathing, I suddenly notice something shimmering through the tracked snow. A flash of color catches my eye. I carefully brush the snow aside with my gloves and can hardly believe what I’m seeing. Oh, hey! How …

Schweiz · Albula Alps (Graubünden)
Steep slopes, a knife-edge ridge and endless silence: Gfroren Horn (9,009 feet) above Davos hides where few people ever think to look. A ski tour for those seeking solitude. And adventure in the overlooked. The slopes sparkle white – but our destination lies higher. More remote. Colder. With every …

Norwegen · Rondane
Norway’s oldest national park is a place where the mountains still set the rhythm of life. Established in 1962, Rondane National Park protects a vast alpine wilderness with ten peaks over 6,500 feet, making it one of the country’s most iconic landscapes. In early May, Rondane is in a transitional …

Italien / Frankreich · Westalpen
We left without a destination, route or return date. Eighteen days of improvisation, carrying heavy packs and sleeping in bivouacs, shelters, igloos, meadows and wartime bunkers. We crossed valleys, peaks and villages, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends. We were free, and perhaps that mattered …

Ski touring backpacks
BCA
Marketing BCA Europe
Vinzenz has been working at BCA for three years and is currently responsible for European marketing. While his passion in summer is clearly trail running, in winter you can find him freeriding or ski touring in almost every free minute. He regularly brings his experiences and experiences with his BCA equipment into product development. As a native of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, he skied for the first time when he was just two years old. Even though he spent most of his time on cross-country skis when he was younger, his focus soon shifted to ski touring and freeriding. To this day, he is out on his skis in all winds and weather – but he prefers fresh snow and blue skies.

Ski touring bindings
Fritschi Swiss Bindings
marketing
Simon is responsible for marketing at Fritschi. He grew up near Fritschi's headquarters and was in the mountains and on skis from an early age. Thanks to his godfather, he discovered ski touring early on. For him there is nothing better than being able to ski down an untracked slope. Every free minute he spends on ski tours and in the spring he goes on a high-altitude tour. No wonder, there is a large selection right on your doorstep.

Lenz
CEO
Stefan Lenz is the second generation to run the family business. As an enthusiastic athlete, he prefers to spend his free time in the mountains - whether ski touring, mountain biking or on a racing bike. The close connection to sport also shapes product development at Lenz, for which Stefan is responsible. Through regular exchanges with athletes and retailers, new ideas are constantly emerging. Anyone who actively travels inevitably hears about challenges, wishes and problems. This is exactly what innovative products often develop from. In addition to functional textiles, technical solutions such as heated socks, individually adapted 3D insoles for a wide variety of foot and shoe types or bike socks with integrated protective pads were created.
